Excel tools for business intelligence support data munging, visualization, filtering, and advanced analytics. The competency includes string manipulation, filtering, and normalization of data. For presentation and analysis, the competency includes creation of pivot tables, charts and graphs for visualization.
Key Competencies:

Filters - Ability to apply filters based on conditions eliminating any irrelevant data.

Built-in Excel Functions - Knowledge of using IF statements, COUNTA, COUNTIF, AVG, etc. Knowledge of text functions such as joining strings, finding the length, finding substring, substitute etc.

Data Lookup Functions - Knowledge of functions such as LOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP, MATCH and INDEX.

Pivot Charts and Data Visualizations - Ability to create pivot tables and plots to analyze and visualize data.
